'The Wave' and 'Leyla' benches were successfully installed at the Sheffield Crucible Theatre in February 2010 which was re-opened in style with Daniel Evans directorial debut 'Enemy of the People' starring Anthony Sher. There were rave reviews about the re-furbishment and the production.
The response to the work has been beautiful. Theatre Critic Susannah Clapp commented on BBC Radio 3's programme Night Waves 'I particularly like the bench which speaks when you sit on it with the voices from the theatre, voices of the people who worked there.'
