Summer School!

FS Youth
Youth Theatre Summer Workshops

This summer we’re running our first performing arts summer school. Alongside workshops by our amazing facilitators Natalie Davies and Anna Parker, we’re offering a bronze Arts Award and a talk by writer Tajinder Singh Hayer.

The week also includes a trip to see the National Theatre production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime at Bradford Alhambra theatre.

Thanks to a BMDC Youth Work grant, this is FREE for young people aged 13-19 from Bradford (or up to age 25 with a learning disability). No previous experience is necessary, we just ask that participants commit to the whole week.

We particularly encourage applications from the following; ethnic minority backgrounds, LGBTQ, asylum seekers/refugees, young parents, those affected by drugs, homelessness or mental health issues, and those with physical or learning disabilities.

If you know young people who are interested, encourage them to get in touch ASAP as places are limited.

Dates: Mon 31st July to Fri 4th August

Times: 10:30 to 3:30 each day

Location: Freedom Studios, 7 Manor Row, Bradford BD1 4PB
