Graeme Thompson

Graeme is Freedom Studios Creative Director and oversees the management of the organisation. With a background in directing, producing and dramaturgy he has extensive experience in working with playwrights and delivering creative and talent development programmes, often with a place-based focus. Graeme has previously worked as Creative Producer at Live Theatre, Newcastle and as Literary Co-ordinator at Theatre 503 in London. Graeme has previously directed the critically acclaimed Terminal Velocity of Snowflakes by Nina Berry, and Shine by Kema Sikazwe, He is also a recipient of the Writers Guild of Great Britain, Olwen Wymark Theatre Encouragement Award.
