Working With Schools

Freedom Studios has worked with a number of Bradford schools over the years in many different ways, from delivering workshops and Q&A’s with creative professionals, to creating school projects connected to the company’s productions, introducing young people of Bradford to Freedom Studios and our vibrant Youth Theatre.

Freedom Studios Youth Theatre offers FREE creative workshops for young people to come together, have fun and pick up some theatre skills along the way – all within a friendly and inviting environment led by a team of experienced workshop leaders.

Youth theatre members have the opportunity to work with professional actors, writers and directors and to make theatre about the subjects they are passionate about. Through practical workshops, members can learn a wide range of skills used in theatre; from storytelling and ensemble performance to creative writing and film-making.
