Bhavisha Kukadia-Moran – Chair 

Bhavisha Kukadia-Moran is an arts, culture and charities professional with a specialist in Trusts and Foundations fundraising and grant making. Bhavisha has worked across regional and national organisations, supporting projects in the visual arts, music and research. She is a Trustee of Threads in the Ground, a climate hope organisation. Bhavisha combines her experience of charity governance, equalities and impact management with a personal passion to make meaningful change for communities and creatives across the cultural sector.

 

Tahir Shah – Tahir is a born and bred Bradfordian, with 10 years of experience in professional services. Having a background in Human Resources and Organisational Development, Tahir is able to advise and guide organisations to meet their goal. Outside the board-room you can find Tahir on set of major productions having worked as an Actor with the BBC, Netflix and Channel 4. Tahir champions local creatives and is a big believer in giving a voice to under-represented communities.

Beccy Durham – Beccy taught in the education sector for twenty years, specialising in Drama as a tool to educate and inspire young people. This has included primary, secondary schools and centres where students have complex needs and offer specialist provision. Since 2019 Beccy has worked as a professional Actor/ Theatre Practitioner/ Playwright/ Director creating theatre experiences for a variety of audiences. Beccy writes all the plays for Falling Stars Theatre with her most recent play, Once Upon A Time, touring community centres, theatres and churches in the Bradford district in December 2022 with one review calling it, “Brilliant entertainment for all the family. Interactive, hilarious and most of all festive. An amazing performance.” Beccy teaches Acting/Drama for Stage 84 and is represented by the Mune Casting Agency. She also is a Visiting Examiner for Edexcel GCSE Drama.

Matthew Ingram – Philanthropy Officer, Newcastle University. Matthew is a fundraiser with specialisms in crowdfunding, digital fundraising and community and events fundraising. A firm believer that philanthropy shouldn’t be a reserve of the rich – everyone can pitch in to make a difference to causes that they feel passionate about. Matthew is looking forward to supporting Freedom Studios advance its mission to develop new work, artists and audiences.

Jonathan Mace – Jonathan is passionate about theatre and new writing, having worked in fundraising for the Royal Shakespeare Company and Hampstead Theatre in his early career before training as a Chartered Accountant with Grant Thornton’s Audit practice, specialising in Technology, Media and Telecoms businesses. After qualifying, Jonathan join ATG Entertainment as a Finance Business Partner before taking his most recent role as General Manager of the Harold Pinter Theatre.
